EVANGELISM
AND MISSIONS PROGRAM

Through this program we endeavour to reach out to people of all
age groups with the gospel. We in BM feel that all
problems faced by human kind, need to deal with the spiritual
needs then the physical needs will be easily dealt with. Given
the example of the wars, HIV/AIDS scourge which has and it still
is killing many people regardless of their age and status. To
successfully realize the goals and objectives of this program,
we endeavour to work in partnership/collaboration with other
churches and Christian organizations both at local and
international level.

HIV/AIDS AND VULNERABLE GROUPS WELFARE DEPARTMENT
AIDS is the leading killer disease in the country, which has
claimed lives of both men and women of ages mainly between 14-40
years. Yet as shocking as these deaths are, the impact of
HIV/AIDS does not end with them. Because those dying from AIDS
are mainly people in the prime of their lives who are often
parents, a less well-known and calamitous effect of AIDS is the
vast numbers of children orphaned by the disease.
BM
through its partners carries out intervention activities with a
Christian approach with love and compassion towards those
families, which have been affected and infected by HIV/AIDS
epidemic and other issues causing human suffering. |

Through community development initiatives BM targets
Community Based Groups and Churches since they are based at the
grassroots and they can easily identify most of their pressing
problems in their communities and are able to come up with
possible solutions to address them.

BM
supports orphans in Uganda.
With the
orphan population growing in epidemic proportions, there is an
enormous, immediate need for orphan care in Uganda and Sierra
Leone. BM dynamic approach to confront the problem,
through establishing and supporting church-based Family Homes.
Each home has a family atmosphere based on love and compassion
that is touched by the word of God. Every home shares a building
with the local Christian church.
This unique church/home combination provides an effective method
of meeting both the spiritual and physical needs of each orphan.
Each home has the capacity to house about 40 children. The homes
provide beneficial, nurturing, holistic care to parentless
infants, children, and adolescents. A healthy, flourishing
environment filled with love and songs of worship is found at
each Family Home. BM .partners with other NGOs to reach
over 70+ of these church orphan homes in Uganda and Sierra
Leone. Join us as we partner with God's people in Africa.

Caregivers:
Widows are the principal caregivers in each orphan care
facility. They understand the pain each orphan faces, having
experienced loss as well. We maintain a staff ratio of one
caregiver for every five children, so you can be assured that a
frightened child will be held and comforted by someone who
cares.
